Tour's Program

Upon arrival to the airport, you well be met by our guide and transfer to you hotel. In the afternoon, take the orientation walk in Hanoi Old Quarter. Our guide will introduce to you some of the authentic local food like Banh Cuon (steam rice pancake rolled with mince perk and mushroom), “Bun cha” (Rice Noodle with grilled pork – another Hanoi famous street food), Pho (Rice Noodle soup with beef or chicken), enjoy some coffee in local coffee shop followed by the dinner at Cha Ca La Vong (the most famous and authentic local food in Hanoi serving rice noodle with grilled fish on the charcoal kitchen). Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

This morning, your tour guide will take you to the cooking class. Discover a local market and learn about ingredients, flavors and see how the local prepare for meals. Next is a short talk on the art of Hanoian gastronomy, vegetables, herbs & spices & learn how to prepare & use them. The Chef will share to you her pride of Vietnamese cuisines and the secrets how to make it good. Enjoy the local food in Hanoi style.

In the afternoon, visit Temple of Literature – the central of culture of Hanoi, West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple and then enjoy the great experience of Water Puppet show - a unique Vietnamese Art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture. And then free time at hotel or your own discovery. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Today you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Called “Bay of Descending Dragons” in Vietnamese, the archipelago of Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle clad limestone pillars. Upon arrival, you will set out on a junk cruise on the bay while lunch is served. Spend the next few hours visiting ancient limestone caves and paddling around on sea kayaks. Overnight on the boat.
Wake up early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. The boat will then make its way back to the port stopping at the Cave of Surprises, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbour and the return drive to Hanoi. On the way, visit Tho Ha, a traditional village of terracotta products dating before the 20th century. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Morning is free at leisure until transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure flight.
